Who am I?
I am an American Muslim woman who had a hard time finding comfortable hijabs that were both stylish and affordable. Frustrated by the lack of options, I decided to start my own clothing business, and Hijab al-Muminat was born. I am always working to find you attractive, well-made head coverings for every occasion, from formal occasions to business and school attire to casual wear to performing your daily prayers at home. I also strive to give you the best customer service and one of the most flexible return policies on the web.
About al-Muminat
Hijabs imported from other countries are usually made to cater to the culture and fashion trends of that country, and Islamic clothing made in the US can be very expensive.Our products are specially designed by Hijab al-Muminat and custom made in Egypt to meet the requirements of Muslims in the west with regard to size, style, material and durability. We work closely with four different well-established Egyptian manufacturers as well as a famous Turkish fashion house to produce top quality products, often much higher quality than is normally available in Egypt, Turkey and other countries that export Islamic clothing.
Hijab Al-Muminat started as an eBay seller in January of 2004.
In February of 2005 we launched our eBay store.
In January of 2006 www.al-muminat.com was officially inaugurated.
