How do I wrap the scarf so it looks the way it does in the picture?
If you have never worn a shayla style hijab before, see our guide "How to wrap your hijab" for one simple way to wear it. There are many ways to wrap our scarves, and each person will develop her own personal style.
Will the item look exactly the way it does in the picture?
We do our best to ensure that our pictures accurate represent our products. However, the way the colors appear can vary according to your computer's monitor settings. If you purchase an item and are not happy with the color or look, you are welcome to return or exchange the item.
Do you have more sizes or colors?
The sizes and colors listed for an item are the only ones available. We are currently working with our suppliers to produce a wider range of sizes for our Turkish jilbabs, including plus sizes.
Does Hijab al-Muminat take custom orders or alterations?
Because our items are manufactured abroad, we are unable to provide custom orders or alterations. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Do you have a physical store?
We do not have a physical store location. However, local residents and visitors to the Santa Barbara, CA area may request particular items to be delievered to the local masjid for pickup during prayer times free of charge.
How do I know your website is secure?
We use the highest industry standard encryption whenever we exchange personal information (such as name, address, payment information...). You will know that the connection is secure by verifying the presence of a lock or key on the bottom of your browser's window. You can also double click on that lock or key to verify our site's information.
Do I have to create an account to place an order?
No, but creating an account will allow you to track your orders and makes future orders much faster because you don't have to re-enter your information. You will also have an opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter which includes special sale and new inventory announcements.
Can I order a catalog?
Paper catalogs are costly to print and distribute. To keep our costs down and save you money, we do not offer a physical catalog. However, you can find pictures and descriptions or all of our items on our website.
